World Toilet Day is November 19th

World Toilet Day was started in 2001 by the World Toilet Organization.

It is a day to celebrate the importance of sanitation and raise awareness for the 2.5 billion people (nearly half of the world's population) who don't have access to toilets and proper sanitation.

JOIN THE BIG SQUAT! Click here for more information.

At exactly noon on November 19th, gather your family, friends, classmates, colleagues and everyone you know to squat in public for 1 minute in support of World Toilet Day.

This drives home the point "where would you go?" and how people without toilets are forced to go in public places.
