About WTO Membership

WTO membership is open to individuals and organizations with diverse backgrounds such as NGOs, local and national governments, community based organizations, academe, sanitation professionals, experts, trainers, engineers, development professionals and UN agencies that are passionate in improving and promoting toilet hygiene and sanitation.

WTO is dedicated to meet the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) to reduce by half the number of people without access to basic sanitation by 2015.

Membership to World Toilet Organization is FREE
 
Minimum Application Criteria

Organizations: Committed to promoting and achieving improved sanitation at local, national, regional or international level

Individuals: Minimum 3 years of progressive work experience in the sanitation sector or related technical and educational background.

Note: If you do not meet the above minimum criteria but would like to be involved in our movement to promote adequate sanitation you can register with us as a volunteer, email volunteer@worldtoilet.org If you would like to be informed about the activities and progress in this sector register for the mailing list

How to Apply
Applying for WTO Membership is simple:

2. Download the Membership Application Form and email the duly completed form to info@worldtoilet.org

Note: For Individual Membership, a comprehensive CV is required to be submitted with the application form. For clarifications regarding the application process you may email info@worldtoilet.org.

We encourage all sanitation advocates to be part of this global voice in bringing the issues of toilet and sanitation to the forefront and collaborative action towards addressing the crisis .
